Sea Bass Grilled in Foil
Grilling sea bass in foil creates a beautifully moist, tender, and flavorful dish. With the piquant flavor of lemon and herbs, this recipe is the perfect healthy and easy-to-make summer meal.
Ingredients
- 2 fillets of sea bass (can substitute other white fish of your choice)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced thinly
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- A handful of fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or basil are excellent choices)
- 2 large sheets of aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Lay out the aluminum foil sheets. Brush each sheet with olive oil.
- Place each sea bass fillet in the center of the aluminum foil sheet.
- Season each fillet with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Arrange lemon slices and fresh herbs to cover each fillet.
- Fold the foil over the fish, creating a sealed packet. Ensure it's sealed tightly on all sides to keep the steam inside for cooking.
- Place the foil packets on the preheated grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and easily flaked with a fork.
- Carefully open one end of the packets to allow the steam to escape.
- Open the packet completely, remove the lemon and herb garnish, and serve the fish hot directly from the packet or transferred to a plate.
- **Note:** This method of cooking fish also works well in your oven's broiler. The cooking time and temperature remains the same.
