Sea Bass Grilled in Foil

Sea Bass Grilled in Foil

Grilling sea bass in foil creates a beautifully moist, tender, and flavorful dish. With the piquant flavor of lemon and herbs, this recipe is the perfect healthy and easy-to-make summer meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets of sea bass (can substitute other white fish of your choice)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced thinly
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • A handful of fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or basil are excellent choices)
  • 2 large sheets of aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Lay out the aluminum foil sheets. Brush each sheet with olive oil.
  3. Place each sea bass fillet in the center of the aluminum foil sheet.
  4. Season each fillet with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Arrange lemon slices and fresh herbs to cover each fillet.
  6. Fold the foil over the fish, creating a sealed packet. Ensure it's sealed tightly on all sides to keep the steam inside for cooking.
  7. Place the foil packets on the preheated grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and easily flaked with a fork.
  8. Carefully open one end of the packets to allow the steam to escape.
  9. Open the packet completely, remove the lemon and herb garnish, and serve the fish hot directly from the packet or transferred to a plate.
  10. **Note:** This method of cooking fish also works well in your oven's broiler. The cooking time and temperature remains the same.
